Our first senior teacher weekend workshop. Please have at least 6 months of Iyengar Yoga. Laurie is one of my teachers and she has this amazing teaching ability. She is funny and light and yet still has that intensity that we all know and love in Iyengar Yoga. She has studied with BKS Iyengar and his family since the 70's, truly a wealth of knowledge and experience.
Last session I introduced the ways to traction the neck and shoulders, this session will expound upon that understanding and knowledge. $40.00
A 2 hour intensive on the hands, shoulders and neck in the asanas. We will explore standing poses, beginning back extensions and sarvangasana (shoulder stand). These categories can help us understand how this area of our body responds to the poses as well as strengthen the muscles to hold the poses in a very healthy way. I am a great example of how yoga can heal the neck and shoulders just ask!
Just a lovely Sunday in the quiet village near I'On... pranayama at 9:30 am, asana 11 am to 1 and more asana at 2:30 pm. The focus this month will be on how to create intelligent opening from the outer rim of the body to the center of our being and then what poses naturally open the inner body to support the strength needed on the outer body.

Recommendations: wear shorts and a comfortable t-shirt, eat very lightly the morning of and please arrive 15 minutes before start time. If you would like to come and practice before the session begins I will be there around 12 to open up.
